We provide contraceptive and sexual health services for people of all ages across Dorset.
Telephone: 0300 303 1948
Our specialist doctors, nurses and healthcare advisors can supply free methods of contraception, as well as confidential advice, information and support covering a wide range of issues. These include:
- family planning and contraception options
- pregnancy testing
- medical terminations
- smear tests
- testing and treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) such as Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, Syphilis and HIV
- psychosexual support
- management of pelvic pain, genital problems and other conditions
- follow-up and testing after sexual assault.
We also offer targeted support for young people, and for women working in the sex industry (through the Dorset Working Women’s Project).
Services are delivered in a number of clinics around the county, and we work in partnership with Dorset County Hospital and the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospital.
As long as you are able to attend a clinic, you can contact us directly for an appointment. We also take referrals from GPs, consultants and other health and social care professionals.
