Do you know whether or not you are safe to drive whilst taking your medication?

Although it is easy to think the drug driving laws only apply to illegal drugs such as cocaine and heroin, if you take certain medications, including some over-the-counter painkillers, you need to know how the law affects you.

It is an offence to drive with certain levels of drugs in your blood stream regardless of whether or not your ability to drive is impaired.

Remember though, that if your driving is impaired for any reason, you must not drive.
