Moles

Moles and skin lesions are very common and pretty much all of us will have a mole at some time in our lives. And most moles and skin lesions are benign, ie, they cause no problems at all.

In this episode of the Penny’s Hill Practice Podcast, Dr Geoff Hamp and Dr Sam McGinley look at skin moles.

The British Association of Dermatologists have some very comprehensive and useful leaflets including this one on melanotic naevi, or pigmented moles. The NHS also has a great page about moles which you can find here and also about non-melanoma skin cancer here.

And if you haven’t already, don’t forget to have a listen to our very popular episode on Sunshine and Vitamin D that we recorded last summer too- you can hear that here.
