At last the cold spell seems to have broken and although it is rainy, it feels warmer. As spring approaches rapidly, and with the weather warmer now, this is the time of year people start to venture out in to their gardens and start tidying up as nature comes out of hibernation.

This is therefore also the time of year we start to get enquiries from budding Monty Dons and Alan Titchmarshes after sustaining an injury in the garden- stepping on a rusty nail, getting an injury from the rose bush that needed pruning back, stepping on something sharp that pierced the wellies- as to whether or not they need a tetanus jab.
